Caring for your piece

• Put your jewellery on last, after perfume, lotion and make-up.
• Take it off to shower, swim in a pool or the sea, exercise and sleep.
• Avoid chlorine, bleach and cleaning products.

Keep each piece separately, ideally in its PRATTA packaging, somewhere dry and out of the sun. It will not scratch or tangle, and it will darken more slowly.

• For everyday care, wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wearing.
• If the piece darkens, a silver polishing cloth brings back its shine.
• Avoid pastes, brushes and abrasive products, which scratch the metal.
• On pieces with stones, clean gently around them and do not soak the piece.

Darkening is silver's natural reaction to the sulphur in air, humidity and sweat. It is not a defect and does not harm the piece: it comes off with cleaning. How fast it happens varies from person to person and place to place.

If a stone comes loose, a clasp stops closing or a solder opens, write to us on WhatsApp. Manufacturing defects are covered by the lifetime warranty.
